Our electricity comes from solar, wind and hydro.
We have mixed recycling and paper recycling bins (which are, themselves, made from UK post-consumer recycled plastic!) throughout our buildings, and general waste which isn't recyclable is burned in South-East London to generate electricity.
Our weekly organic milk and tea deliveries come by bicycle. Our fresh flowers also come via bicycle from Bloom & Wild.
We've phased out most paper hand towels, plastics and other single-use packaging and materials.
Our printer paper is recycled from the paper thrown in our paper recycling bins. Our printers use bulk ink tanks, saving on ink cartridges and ink wastage.
We offer battery charging points and rechargeable AA and AAA batteries for keyboards, mice and accessories to help avoid single-use batteries.
We use long-life LED lighting throughout our buildings.
We use eco-friendly, never-tested-on-animals cleaning products from responsible brands we trust - that's primarily Ecover and Method.
Our toilet paper is made from 100% bamboo fibre which is super soft, renewable and ultra-sustainable. It's also vegan, cruelty free and carbon balanced with the World Land Trust. From Cheeky Panda.
We have various systems for reducing our water usage in our kitchens, taps and plant.
Our teas are organic and fairtrade from Clipper, and our bean-to-cup coffee is free and unlimited.
Plants are important for our psychological wellbeing, and you're never very far from some in our buildings. We also have a lovely plant care team taking care of our plants, and even propogating them into new ones.
All our private offices and almost all our meeting and break-out spaces have plenty of natural light.
We have bicycle storage at both spaces, and lots of Santander bikes around the Clerkenwell location.
We like people feeling at home in our spaces, and there are plenty of different kinds of areas to relax (or, work!)
You'll never be more than 15 meters walk away from a fresh water cooler in our spaces.
Our Royal Docks space has been certified an A EPC (Energy Performance Certificate), putting us in the top 1.83% of commercial buildings in terms of energy performance in the UK (source: gov.uk EPC tables).
